Live Sand Shipment

Is it Ok to have Live Sand shipped?

I bought my live sand from saltwaterfish.com and I have been very happy with it.

Unless you are within driving distance to where it is collected, all Live Sand is shipped. No need to worry, if you buy LS from the LFS it was shipped to them (or at least their supplier)so by shipping it to you directly you are actually cutting out one stop it makes on the way to your tank.
