LiveRock Done ???

I have had my live rock in a tub with a power head for 2 1/2 weeks, today i tested the ammonia, and 0. I know it should be good to goin the tank, so why am i so nervus

Should be done when ammonia reads zero, it smells like the ocean, and there is no black or squishy stuff on the rock.

no black or squishy left, it was pretty gross though. Ammonia Zero

Yup, live rock is pretty revolting before it is cured. The calcium deposits remind me of a fractured skull and the squishy, smelly stuff is just nasty.

there were a few black things i was afraid to touch. scrapped them off with a knife and tooth brush

No, internet auction site, its pretty rock, just uncured
