Dont worrie sometimes it will die off if its a new tank and come back. What is your calcium content and what type of lighting do you have?

Better lighting would be best for growing coralline. I had 2 15W flouro's on my tank never really did anything. Then I got my PC and now it is taking off like no other. Test your calcium if your alk is high and your water is hard (over 8.4) then to mutch calcium isnt good keep it in the 425 max range.
