I've been trying to get rid of a case of hair algae for awhile with varying succes.
When I checked with my lfs they recommended Algae Magic. I bought it and dosed for three days as directed and it cleared up. After that I got a massive case of Cyanobacteria and treated that with Chemi-clean. I used the chemi-clean as directed and also reduced the lighting as I read on this site as helpful and the stuff cleared up and my tank has never looked better, clear with very little algae of any kind except a reoccurrence of this hair algae. I want to go back to the Algae Magic but thought I would ask first........
