Long Nose Hawk in my Nano???

I have a Long Nose Hawk in my 55 gallon. I'm setting up a 12 gallon Nano.
I would like to eventually move my hawk to the Nano. He is about 2 inches long and I've had him for over a year. Currently he only stays in one section of the large tank. Would he be okay/happy in the nano?
If so, what other fish and clean up crew should go in their with him?

A 30 gallon minimum is suggested for him but I have seen lots of people stick fish in a nano that have a 30g mimimum rating. I am not that familiar with them but they can get up to 5".
They like to eat small fish so I would be careful with what you put in with him.
Also it says caution with inverts.
Maybe a bad choice for the nano.......
Or maybe just him and no one else.
