I have a question regarding Long Nosed Filefish. Has anyone had any success keeping these fish? I have not been able to find very much info. about this fish, but what I have heard is that it is very hard to feed and that it only eats live coral polyps. Any information you have would be great. Thanks.

Almost impossible to keep them alive and it is a shame they are beautiful fish but better left in the sea. I would pass if I were you.
Long-Nosed Filefish; Orange-Green Filefish; Beaked Leatherjacket.
Feeding; Polyps and algae in the wild;animal foods such as crustaceans and shellfish meat in captivity. Grazer.
Shy; best kept in groups of 2 or more with non-boisterious fishes, or in species tank.

just like Pufferlover said they are impossible to keep in captivity. Although i know some that has before, they enjoy button polyps...But that starts to become a very exspensive staple. I would definetly stay away from them. I really don't understand why any LFS would sell these fish?
