long tentacle anemone a killer?

i have recently purcahsed a long tentacle anemone and now i cant find my hermit crabs!!! i know before they were pinching at the bottom of it and now they are gone.........did the anemonee kill it or are they hiding?

I don't think LTA eats or kills hermit crab .. so most likely your hermit crab may be under its foot or hiding somewhere else .. the LTA doesn't know if your hermit crab is a living thing, to its foot it feels like a rock.

is this bad for the LTA? will the hermits kill it if they are under its foot or no?

Nope, your LTA will be OK .. not sure if your hermit will make it if it stays under too long. But if your LTA has chosen a spot, then let it be. It is easier to buy another hermit.
