long tentacle......looked like it pooped?

okay, i am a noob at owing/caring/watching my long tentacle....
it let off this crazy brown mucus looking discharge, not white, but brown. i think this is the waste/poop but i am asking for confirmation.
is this okay and should i remove this from my tank? or just let it be?
(i removed the brown mucus stuff just in case)

how long has it been in your tank? mine did the same thing when it was new to my tank.

Does the anemone look healthy otherwise? If it does, it was just expelling waste.

Been in tank for only 8 days.
It looks like it is getting a lot of it is tan color back. The maroon clown will not leave its side.
