longhorn cowfish on reef!!!

i am in a process of acquiring another small tank to put the cowfish in.can i put it in the refugium for a day or 2 without other mate on 35 gallon refugium

Beautiful fish, I owned two and didn't worry about them at all. I actually had one originally that died in my tank, but caused no harm. The lfs owner told me that the fish was probably traumatized by the car ride and then died. My tank is fine and has been fine since.

I've heard that its 50/50. Some people had it stress out and it kill their hole tank while others had it get sucked into a power head(survived somehow) and it never let out any toxins.
