longnose butterfly help

My recently acquired longnose butterfly hasn't been eating anything I put in the tank. I've heard they can be fussy eaters. Any suggestions? Thanks

Long nose butterflies are reef pickers by nature they just pick at the rocks and such.
If you want to try and jump start its eating then you may want to try live brine shrimp or even live tubiflex worms (neither is a very nutricious food but it may get the fish eating and then you can move on to some better foods)
I hope you have good luck with it long nose are very very picky eaters.

Try Piscine frozen mysis...perhaps add a bit of fresh chopped or sliced garlic to it in a cup first, then feed.
You could also hide food in crevices/holes in the rock around the tank...since it is his nature to seek food out in this fashion.Good Luck!
