I had an opportunity to purchase a pair of pipefish just like yours a few weeks back (multi-bar, if I remember correctly). The pair that I saw were eating frozen mysis, but were wild caught (which is why I decided against purchasing them).
They are absolutely beautiful!! My LFS also had a pair (much later) of blue banded pipefish that were much smaller than the previous multi-bars...equally as beautiful...I didn't even ask questions about them...**be strong Lisa, be strong...m-u-s-t n-o-t b-u-y t-h-e p-i-p-e-f-i-s-h!!** Whewww!!
