lookdown fish

Can anyone tell me about lookdown fish. i have a 220 gal tank. would they have plenty of room?

they are SOOO cool. yeah a 220 should be fine for 2 or 3,,, i dont know how they do with other fish though. Is this all you plan on having in there?

No, I have other fish in the tank. I will have to do some research.

Pretty cool fish. Quite peaceful, as long as he can't eat other fish. They do get larger then most, a bit over a foot long, but almost as tall. Image a small pizza floating around in your tank. One or two should be fine in a 220 (is it an 8 foot?) for quite some time. Maybe eventually needing an upgrade. Probably the least active jack (good thing), and is a open water swimmer (will be out almost 100% of the time). Avoid keeping with overly aggressive tankmates that will pick on the Lookdown, like Clown Triggers or giant Hawkfish.

The LFS has one . They had two for a long time . They have it in a 125 . It's very skittish . There is usually a bamboo pup or two in with it and as of late they have had a smooth hound pup in with it . Poor thing just seams to be cramped and not very happy at all .
