they are supposed to be hardy, but hard to feed. they need a BIG tank. like over 150 to have a nice life. they are very active swimmers. i see them all the time diving and they travel in big schools. besideds that i'm out.

They are totally awsome looking, and I looked into getting one or some a couple of months ago. I have yet to talk to someone who actually has kept these fish.
As Von_Rahvin suggests they do need a large and long tank. However, they have been described to me as a peaceful fish so I am not sure what their compatibility with aggressives is. I have read that they should be kept in small groups or otherwise will not do well.
My LFS gets them in and has not had much luck keeping them for more than a couple months. However I see this LFS making allot of mistakes with all of their tanks.
If I ever get a 150-180g tank with allot of swimming room and no aggressive fish, I would certainly look into getting a few.
