Looking for a centerpiece fish

Ok I know there is alot of these threads asking what fish should I buy and so on. But I want some opinions cause I have been searching and searching and have not found anything to knock my socks off. I am lightly stocked right now and looking for that eye catching fish. right now I just have a yellow tang, clown and firefish. The tank is a 120 and is a reef so that narrows alot down. Throw out some good ideas for me please! I will also prolly add a flame angel as well. Maybe a blue throat trigger? Thanks

man your right they are beatiful fish though and said to be hardy which is hard to find in the really exotic looking fish.

triggers will attack shrimp too. They will also eat snails and hermits. :(
strawberry pseudochromis?
Barletts anthias?
helfrichi firefish goby?
Sunburst anthias?
pair of banggai cardinals?
Maroon clownfish?
Orchid Dottyback?
Flame hawkfish? (monitor with shrimp etc.)
Foxface Rabbitfish?
Powder blue tang? (might need bigger tank)
hawaiian flame wrasse?

Pictures do not even do the fish justice! I love that fish. He will eat any shrimp as a light afternoon snack. My experience has been that all wrasses will.

Blue Jaw triggers are reef safe. A 4" so or male would make an awesome centerpiece fish. A pair of leopard wrasses would also be stunning.
IMHO, a 4' tank is just a touch small for a Harlequin Tusk. Mine have been quite active and used up every bit of my 125gal. They love shrimp. Mine used to eat jumbo live bait shrimp (the same kind you can buy frozen), he'd grab them in the middle, mind you they were thicker then a permanent marker, and bite them in half.

Depending on what type of fairy wrasse you get, they can get up to 18"+
LOL, but what in the world, a 18" fairy wrasse?? The largest is Cirrhilabrus melanomarginatus
which only reaches 13cm

Clown Fairy Wrasse - 18+"
For the most part fairy wrasses are small. Basically, do your research before purchasing a fish :D

You guys are amazing, I jump into the shower and come back and have a dozen great suggestions. I'm liking the thought of the blue jaw trigger....but I have to get off to work and then get home and research all these!! Talk to you guys later!

My Golden Dottyback is just the nastiest little fish....tries to attack me through the glass! I like him and he's a trip, but I don't know if I'd ever get another one. Pure definition of bully. Not sure if this is typical of Dottybacks.

It's on another site that sells fish. It just must be a typo, cause my clown fairy wrasse never got longer then 4" so you must be right!

Yes, I had a Royal Dottyback that was the meanest little fish in my tank. I took him back to the LFS, because he would hunt down and kill anything I put in my tank.
I like Blue Jaw Triggers as well, but they will eat shrimp. I personally would pick the fish over the shrimp though.

Again, it's highly unlikely a Blue Jaw will eat a shrimp, esp. if you start off small to med 3"-4" specimen.
