Looking for a Conch & Nudi Question

Hello all, my small queen conch recently passed away and I was looking for a replacement. I need something that shifts the sand and stays small. I don't wan't anything harmful like sand sifting gobies or stars either. Cucumbers look like the get to big anyways. The sand sifting crabs here only come in 5 so my only optionl left really is a new conch. I've read that young queens eat mostly algae so that might be why she died, I've never had much algae to begin with. Do aquacultured fighting conches stay small? Also, what can I do to my powerheads to make them safe for lettuce sea slugs? Thanks for the help.
