thinking of setting up a 40 gal fish only tank. i have a 90 gal semi reef. what are some hardy aggressive fish i can put in a 40 gal? love triggers, puffers, eels, lions, angels. thanks for you ideas.

in a 40g tank, NONE of the above will fit.

blennys
chromis
firefish
and not much else

Make it a 55g tank and you can have a dwarf angel and maybe a small eel like a snow flake or banana eel.

I had a dwarf puffer (toby) in a 55 and he did well. was thinking about doing a dwarf lion as well but I upgraded tank instead.
