looking for some info

ok so i know i really need to put this in the hitchhiker area but theres not a bunch of people viewing, so i woke up on thanksgiving morning and was looking around in my tank before the light came on and this is what i found, my tank is a 37 gal reef tank and im not sure if i need to be worried or not so im looking for a little help

yeah thats kinda what i thought, ive had my tank going for about a year and a half and ive never seen this guy, from what ive just kinda read it is reef safe, but i would like to more info just to be safe

for never seeing this guy in my tank until thanksgiving, hes out and all over the place now, silly i know but i think its weird

He has more than likely had a spot to hide and feed in that he has outgrown.
Not only are the effective grazers on green algaes but also on coralline's. So now that you know he is in there read up and feed him greens on a feeding clip daily and your coralline growth may increase. Of coarse your Ca and Alk have to be allowing for growth!

i have three in my tank and my lfs has been up and running for almost 20 years and the main guy has set up over 100 tanks all over the place and put them in them so i love watching mine the way the get in places it great and they have never touched my corals.

I have had a long spine one in my tank for a long time. Except for the ocasssionaly white track across some rock, or a trail across the back glass, I seldom have any idea it is even in the tank. It is behond me, that a critter with such a large profile remains so hidden for such long periods of time. I may only see him (or her) a time or two a month........

lol thinking back on how many times ive put my hands in the tank to move a rock or replace a coral and how lucky ive been not to come across this guy

i know what you mean like i said my tank has been set up and running for a year and a half and i just saw him, its very cool to watch tho
