looking into a blue jaw trigger!

i am looking at adding a blue jaw to my 110 gallon. my lfs has a 7" male for 140 dollars. is this reasonable?

I have a blue jaw in my 240 and would not even think about putting one in a 110. Also $140 is about double what they go for.

110 gallon too small ? Would one work in a 125 Gallon ? I'm in the process of building a 125 gallon in wall tank and was thinking about getting one for my tank when its finished.

IMO, a 110 or 125 would work. However I would definitely suggest away from purchasing a large adult. Far too many times have I seen these guys not adjust to captivity as big adults. Putting themin small'ish tank (for them) is only going to aggrevate the problem. Look for one in the 3"-4" range, and he should be a great fish.

yeah I am hoping to find a smaller one once my build is complete
