Seems to me, we prevented Iraq from getting nukes. Syria. Libya. Cuba, if looked at in a different way......Iran doesn't have Nukes yet.....
Cuba, maybe, but the rest; doesn't seem that way to me. But explain.
We didn't prevent Iraq from acquiring Nukes? Really?
Syria's nuclear facility was bombed by Isreal in 07. If anyone believes we didn't have a hand in that they are naive.
President George H.W. Bush sent a letter to Khadafi in Libya before the end of his term. In a nutshell President stated that if Khadafi continued pursuit of nuclear weapons the U.S. would obliterate his country. This brought Khadafi to the table in secrets talks with president Bill Clinton. Through these meeting Khadafi stopped Nuclear procurement from the mid 90's forward. The ironic thing in all this? A couple decades later we assist in the leader's removal...thus spurring some international doubts about our country due to negotiating the stoppage of nuclear acquisition and then subsequently destroying the government afterwards......this action has spurred some countries (N. Korea and Iran) to continue testing at an escalated pace than before....
Iran has been under sanctions, they have not acquired a nuclear capability yet. They are a year away....I am willing to bet we will play some part in delaying them their acquisition.........
