Ok so I got a new mushroom today from a friend of mine. It wasnt mounted on any piece of rubble. My problem is that the current in the lowest flow area of my tank still tosses it around. I need to know how to get it to mount and what I can do, because its a really pretty red and I dont want to lose it
. Thank you

super glue it to a rock or whatever with the gel glue and place it in a bowl or something with a mesh or something that will not allow it to float out of the bowl

My luck, I think I only have the liquid. So is there any specific way to do this? Dry the rock + mushroom and apply it to both? Can I put it back in my tank right after they dry?

Well, turns out we have no superglue LOL. Right now its in a corner of the tank where it was before, with a rubberband holding it to the rock. This should work. Nothing is going to knock it over anymore. Anyone have a general time frame for how long its going to take this thing to adhere?

So just an update. Im still quite leery of adding superglue to it, because I dont want any side effects to add to my tank and cause problems. Every 6 hours or so he's across the tank upside down usually, different spots almost every time. Im going to go buy superglue tonite because Im sick of it, so hopefully it'll work.

it will, dont worry, but be careful, because if you let it bounce around unattached for too long it will die. learned that the hard way...

Its eaiser too if you get the super glue gel. And dont worry about it adding anything bad to your tank. It has worked for thousands of reefers on countless occasions, with no adverse side effects. Ok maybe I exagerated the thousands of reefers thing but theres no problem.
