Reaquascape! It did wonders for me.
It just makes it feel like a new tank.
Sell some corals and get nicer frags so you can watch them grow.

If you live near a large city(Chicago maybe), go to a large public aquarium. When I went snokeling in Puerto Rico, I couldn't wait to get home and try to create what I saw on the reefs.

I would try to get a friend or family member involved so that you can have a competition for the nicest tank or just trade frags, fish, and stories of the hobby. Instructing someone new could re-inspire you. Or you could just buy a very beautiful or interesting fish that will keep you watching it.

I DEEP CLEANED MY TANK TODAY!!!!! I feel like I am back into it! I'll go buy some more stuff on Thursday to help me. Thanks for all the advice. My tank is ALMOST back to normal. I am so thankful I didn't kill anything. I haven't done a water change for two and a half months. I know, I am a bad fish keeper. :( But things are changing TODAY!

just put it on the list of other stuff you do and dont neccessarily like doing (cutting the grass, cooking, washing the car, going to the in laws, whatever those things are) until you get your mojo back.
option two: take the live stock out and drop the light cycle to next to nothing. I have a nano like that, the thing looks prestine and all I do is top it off once in a while and ghost feed a few morsels once every two weeks when I'm feeding the other tank. its sort of cocked and loaded waiting on me to do something with it. been that way for probably over 6 months.

You should get on your mission for a black tang again!

Hmm... I am not so sure that is a good idea for me at the moment. If I go into another "no interest" mode, I don't want to loose a beautiful fish like a black tang OR a $300+ fish. I think I'll start the quest again once I am SURE I won't kill it. I do agree that the quest should be started in the future!
I did, however, just purchase a 7 inch male Blonde Naso tang with streamers today. He is doing really well. Regina, who is the same size, has taken kindly to him!

Where are the pics! A new fish means we need updated pics.
