Lost my Goby

My Goby jumped into the back right water intake compartment. He then slid himself behind the back wall and out of site. That was 8 days ago and I tried everything to get him to come out. After a few days I gave up.
Last night during feeding I saw the little guy. He was nosing around behind the bottom intake slats....Sure enough, a flashlight proved he was in good health and swimming around below the floor of the top chamber. Now, how in the heck do I get him out of there? Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you take the floor out? If so get a large pc. of airline tubing and start a siphon in that chamber and suck him out. Have had to do it on the biocube before. Works like a charm.

Not sure which tank you have. In the oceanic tanks with a little pressure on one of the corners the floor just pops right out.

You are in then. We are talking about the first chamber right? Just take something like a screwdriver and push on one corner of the floor in that chamber. Gotta give a little force but it will pop and you can remove. Then use the hose method to get the goby. Now with the floor out this also becomes the perfect place to put your heater! Be aware that if you are using the stock filter pads they may now fall down lower on you. Bigger question is how will you keep this from happening again?

I have a small net that I will use to capture him. I don't think my siphon draws enough. Can replace the floor after removing it?
I guess I need to get some kind of netting to seal off the back compartments... Hey, thanks for your help!
