Lost My Powder Blue Tang today!! Help !!

I noticed some Ick on her a few days ago, went in to fead them today and she was dead, But i dont see Ick on any of my other fish ??? anyone help me with this??? todd

Todd, the halmarks of ich is that it comes and goes. That is a feature of its evasive life cycle.
Take a look at the FAQ Thread at the top of this forum, and the post there on ich. I think after reading that you will understand what is going on, and how to treat it.

That may work, but it may not. In other words, its not reliable. Sometimes it works, very frequently it does not.
What type tank do you have?

125 GALLON SW TANK, WITH FISH, ANENOMIES, SOFT CORALS LOTS CRABS AND SHRIMP, BASICALLY EVERYTHING IN IT!! HELP, I DONT HAVE A SEPERATE TANK RIGHT NOW, TO DO THE QUARANTINE THING, BUT I CAN GET ONE SOON, WAS REALLY HOEING FOR A DIF. WAY OUT. BUT WILL DO WHAT IT TAKES TO SAVE THEM. TODD

I REALLY GOT OFF ON THE WRONG FOOT, I JUST NOW ORDERED A WET/ DRY FILTER, WITH A PROTEIN SKIMMER, I AM USEING THE HANG ON PENGUIN TYPES RIGHT NOW! SAD HUH, BUT THE LOCAL PET STORE SSURED ME IT WAS ALL I NEEDED. MY NEW FILTER COMES IN NEXT WEEK! IM EXCITED!! WILL PROBLY GET A SUMO SOMETIME SOON ALSO. TODD

Well, to be honest with you, I'm not a wet-dry fan, especailly for reef tanks. Better to go with a refugium. Wet-drys fail to complete the nitrogen cycle, leaving behind excessive nitrates.
Do some serach here on the forums to see what others opinions are before you actually start using that wet-dry. If you decide against it, you can always ship it back.

You can definately do both. But take my suggestions and just ask other hobbyists who use them. Most people don't use them in reef tanks because the goal is high quality water with zero readings. There are just better was to filter, more natural was that enhances the reef tank.
