i have alot of long hair green algea on the back of my tank. what would eat that the best. i did just change to ro/di water so i thought it would just go away. but it just seems to be getting fuller. any ideas on how to get rid of it besides scraping it off the glass and causing a mess?

try a laun mower blenny. Tangs also will eat it. I would also invest in a good clean up crew for the tank. What size tank do you have?

Hi,
Here are some suggestions:
1. Get yourself a good cleanup crew with plenty of snails.
2. Get a lawnmower blenny ( if have room )
3. Decrease the photo-period
4. Get a phosphate sponge for you filter - usually called a phos sponge I believe.
5. Decrease your feeding of the tank
Keep doing water changes :)
