well i finally in all these months have the time to upload pics of my 29gallon sps tank. i have been very busy with school and exams are comming up. the tank is a stock 29gallon. there are 60lbs of premiuum fiji lr,50lbs of carab sea live sand. fish list are 3 domino damsels,3 yellow tail damsels,and one flame angel which have been no dominance problems what so ever. the params are perfect in every way no3-0,no2-0,nh3/nh4-0,alk-10.5,ca-425,salinity-1.025,ph 8.2 in day 7.8 at night,mg 1200,p04-0. the filtration for the tank is a melinium2000hob filter with just activated carbon,the lr and ls,and an aqua c remora hob protien skimmer. do maintain ca i dose b-ionic 2 part when ever it is needed. flow is abour 1190gph. here are the pics enjoy

thanks guys for ur wonderful comments. about the flame i have a little ick prob with him. please if u would c the disease and treatment forum and just read my little paragraph and c what i can do. i luckly caught it in the early stages. n e ways dispite that lets keep the comments and suggestions comming guys

lookin good do you notice the flame pickin at your sps polyps??
what light are u running on your tank

hey murph! how is been going man? n e ways man na i have not been noticing any problems with the flame picking at the polyps. i feed him 3 times a day and always have a strip of nori in there for him at all times except night. the lighting i am running is an oceanic aquamedic hanging 150watt mh pendant with a 10k double ended hqi bulb. i will be switching to 10k xm's in about a month . n e ways murph i couldnt have gotten this far without your expertise and willingness to answer my questions u are truely a mentor for me for sps.

thats awesome im glad all is doing so well!
so what do you have so far as SPS go these days?? hows ur growth doing and how are you keeping up your calcium and alk??
ive scene the 250W XM 10K's they look pretty nice by themselves with some ncie growth... Throw on a 250W HQI pendant over your tank u will be amazed at the growth

That is a nice tank

Can you run down a list of your corals? and are you running a calcium reactor? I don't know if your camera is awsome or your tank is colorful but I like it alot.

Looking good! I really like the flame angel, I'm still considering a dwarf angel. What do you feed him each time? Do you have any issues with cyano or nuisance algea with that feeding schedule?

yea murph ive been thinking about that actually but idk about shelling out another $200-$300 on a light again.

orange polyps
orange hugh polyps
ora blue tort
ora rose millipora
pink millipora
tri color
green slimer
pink birdsnest
orange cap monti
green millipora
toad stool

yellow turbina
yummas .
the iinverts are 6snails
probably 20-30blue leg hermits
1 rose bubble tip anemone 6''
fish are
3 yellow tail damsels
3 domino damsels
1 flame angel
equiptment is
2 penguin 1140's
2 maxi jet 900s
1 hob aqua c remora with maxi jet 1200
1 hob filter with just activated carbon and some macro algae.
i do not run a ca reactor. all i do is dose with b-ionic 2 part when ever the tank needs it also it controls my alk and keeps it at 10.5.
i have had an outbreak of cyano algae about a month ago but have stoped it, so no i do not have any problems with it from my feedings.
the flame gets fed 3 times a day of mysis,brine,sprunlia(sry i dont no how to spell it), garlic, and nori. the nori is avaible throught out the day so he can have it when ever he pleases.

I am alsways curious of what corlas and fish are in who's tank. I might just pick up some of those Items.

go for it man they are truly beautiful corals. i just ordered a yellow fiji leather,colt coral,white singularia,green singularia today and put the sps on frag racks above the tank so they can grow out some more.

tank looks great!!!
nice angel looks really good,was going to try and put one in my tank but was kind of scared he would start to nip at the corals after awhile.
