Loud Vibration

I just got a new pump for inside my ecosystem, I put it in and its really vibrating very loudly, is there anything I can do to reduce the sound? Please Help?

I am not real sure on you space limitations but I had a similar problem with a old tamk set-up. I bought a piece of foam and let the pump sit on it. Knocked the problem out. You could even use a rag of some sort. Anything to get that pump of a solid surface. Just be careful as to what is on the rag. I mean rinse it VERY well before you use it.

Would'nt the vinyl hose still vibrate? And the foam, you would have to get a water proof foam correct?

if you use somthing cheap, even a ole' kitchen spounge you could afford to replace it.
