loud wet dry system. Help

I have a wet/dry that syphons of the top and goes into a tube that empties into the sump. When the water is entering into the tube it is quite load. We have the tank in our livingroom, so I would like it to me a little more quiet. Is there anything I can do?

maybe I am wrong or someone else has better info than me. If you are talking about the overflow box where it siphons into a tube then you may want to try the durso standpipe. I have a modified one on my over flow and the loud gurgling noise has quietened down tremendously. Again maybe someone is more versed in this can help but if it is an overflow you may want to try the stand pipe route. hope I helped
