You need to be patient, although 3 months is usually enough, your levels indicate you're not done with your cycle yet. How many fish do you have???? Don't add any more for a while. Get a good buffer to increase the ph, find a bio-booster (like "cycle") and keep up with the regular water changes. Some may disagree, but I usually do more water changes during the cycle process. (like weekly).
Good Luck

I have a blue damsle, a lawnmower blenny, a small sea cucomber, a very small anenomy, an emrald crab, a chocholit chip starfish(he is leaving soon)a snoflake eel(he is also getting kicked out, a long spined sea urchin, 2 scarlet reef hermits, 2 turbo snails, that about wraps it up. oh yea and a decorator crab(realy cool!!)
I am not able to do a water change until next friday(mistake on my part). Today I went to the lfs and got a kent marine prodict called PRO Buffer DKH the manager told me to use this when I use my coral vite and the PH will come up. and about the nitrates he said that it should be fine for about a week until I do my water change.

With a nitrate level that high, I disagree with the fish store guy, especially with inverts in your tank. I am suprised your anenome is still alive. Try to do a water change asap, even if it is a small one. There is also a product that you can put in your filter that is very porous and absorbes nitrate. You could try that too, but a water change would be the fastest help. Also, be sure your carbon in relatively fresh, if not, change it and that will help, too. Best of luck!

Well, with a 25 gal eclipse, and all that livestock, I'd say you're way over stock! I don't know much about the eclipse, but I think its more of a freshwater setup, isn't it?? Anyway, a 25 gal tank, let alone a new one, can't take the bio load you got in there. See if you can find some of your more delicate species [like the eel, etc.] a new home before its too late. Good Luck

eelman, I agree with Beth. Sounds like too many fish for 25 gals. And only three lbs live rock. The eclipse tank is border line for marine setups, I think the filteration and lighting are lacking, but with close attention it could be done. MORE LIVE ROCK. STEVE

at the end of the summer I am going to get a 75 gal, lots of live rock, and lots of live sand. the eel, urchin, and starfish are going back to the store, the anenomy is going to the bigger tank along with the lawnmower blenny, decorator crab, cucumber, and emerald crab. in the eclyps I will have 3 golden wrasses, 6 feather dusters, 25-30lbs of LR, 4 peperment shrimp, a blood shrimp, hermits &snails.
I will have a 10 gal QT
I will try to do a wter change, but I only have 1 gal I can change.
