Lowering Saltilinity

I was wondering how to lower the saltilinity of my tank. It is currently reading 1.026. The tank is a 75 gallon tank. I have tried to do a water change of 25% and it didn't help. Any suggestions

why dont u just add fresh water?

Is your tank cycling? If my salintity is a little too high I just had a smidgin of fresh water in there. It brings it down.

just remove a few gallons of tank water and replace it with dechlorinized fresh water.

My salinity is too high also 1.026 but i am cycling. Can i still add dechlorinated water 2 1/2 weeks into the cycle?
