Ok, so i heard that it is not really a good idea to keep leathers and sps together in the same tank if it is a small system, i have a 10 gallon. But i was wondering if the same rule applied for lps

From my understanding you will be okay with lps coral and leathers. Run activated charcoal in the filter to reduce any chemical warfare.
lps and sps r very similar corals. not all leather emit toxins. some do so more than others. toalstools in general r ok. kenya trees and cabbage corals tend to emit more. running carbon there and there will help along with protein skimming.
