LPS parameters

Ca- 380ppm
alk-7.0 dKh
Mg- 1240ppm


Do you think an LPS like frogspawn would survive in these parameters? I ask because my soft corals are fine, but I don't know how much more LPS corals need to survive. I am not dosing my tank just using coral pro salt with biweekly water changes.

So softies at the bottom of those ranges, sps at the top and LPS in the middle?

as long as you are with in range you are good to go and start bringing you water into the middle ground

Ahh well I see now that if I want to keep LPS corals I need to start looking a thing dosing systems. The standard 2 part (3 parts) is sufficient? Or do you have any special reccomendations?

I use two part from BRS. They have premeasured packages, I like that. I have mostly LPS and very rarely have to dose anything. My levels stay good with just water changes. I do 20% water changes weekly and that seems to suffice.
