what colors are ideal for your rock? i know that each piece of lr is different but what colors are bad news?
I have around 45-50 lbs in a fowlr that has been running for about 5-6 weeks and at this point i am getting lots of new purples and greens, mostly greens.
I have been feeding the rock 'Live rock and sponge food" stuff i got at the lfs? Does anyone else use these types of foods to bring color out in their rock?
Thanks

Is there an ingredient list on that stuff? I believe that coralline (the color) will spread if conditions are right: good water movement to spread spores and adequate calcium level in the water (like about 400-500 ppm)(not sure if thats the correct way to measure calcium, but I think so) What color is most desired? I'd say any!

by green - do you mean green algae? I have a few bright green spots, however, they are not like the slimy green algea that I would normally think of. I hope they are not bad - my trates are 10 and I started using RO water for top-offs and water changes 2 months ago. Maybe I still have too many phosphates? My purple coralline is spreading well so I'm excited about that.
