if i were to order LR from this site, what would i need to do when i recieved it?

You need to cure it again before adding it. Some dieoff will occur during shipping.

You will definately need to scrub it with a brush to get all the "die off", off, and then put it in a tub or tank of salt water and have a power head in there to keep the water churning. Monitor the levels and when ammonia comes bck down, then it should be good to go to add to main tank.
This is of course the way to go IF the main tank is cycled. If you are cycling your tank, you can add it now. HTH
