What exactly are the water parameters in the tank?

Yep, a low specific gravity can definitely kill some inverts living on live rock.

its a FOWLR tank so the pink/red stuff that grows on the rock is an invert???
Or is it coraline? (i think thats tghe right word)
MY sg has not changed for a while.
Still dont understand y the stuff is dying..

Well it could very well be coralline algae (and you may have a lack of calcium/alkalinity), but it also may be sponge or some invert similar (in which case, your SG would be too low). Can you get a picture of it?

f150, can you zoom back from that using paint, photo suite or what ever program you use? It is zoomed in too far.

Its coraline algae and it may be fading, not necessarily dead. What sort of light are you using? If its the regular light that came with the hood then you wont have much if any coraline on the rocks. If your tank is FOWLR then its not necessary to have any special lighting though you wont have the purple/red/pink coraline growth on your rocks and glass.

Ok so its coraline. Ive had the same lights on the tank since i got it about 3 months ago. 1 48" cp & 18" cp. What would be the ideal light for this FOWLR. 10k, 12k or something else any suggestions would be great.....
