When putting live rock into a new tank , will it turn white during cycling and then grow back? My rock is loosing its color , I am about 2 weeks into my cycling... Also can a add more rock during this period or should I wait till the cycling is finished....

if you add more rock now, and it is uncured, it may set you back some, but iwould not think much, however
i, myself would rather add it now, than later when i go tfish in there, just to make sure that you do not get a mjor ammonia spike ith fish in the tank
HTH and good luck

The white is just the corline (spelling) dyeing off, it will come back, you will need to add calcium to help it. If you add lr after the tank has cycled it could go through another cycle again if it is not cured all the way. If you can I would add the lr now and let the cycle finish all at once. Good Luck

i personally would not bother, adding any during the cycle, it is a waste in my opinion, your coraline wont grow well, so feeding it would be useless, wait til after the cycle, nad then after your water change start building it, you can even add some to the bucket for your water change
