hey everyone. i wasnt really sure where to post this, but i dont want to
[hr]
up my skimmer, so i guess ill stick it in equipment...
well, i reaquascaped today, and there are like three 1/2 to 1 pound pieces of rock that are way ugly and i really dont want them in my DT. one of the 1 pound pieces i am going to break up for frag mounts, but i was wondering, would it be OK to beak up the other 1 1/2lbs of rock and drop it into my HOB filter, and remora skimmer?
im sure the HOB would be OK, just not sure about the remora. dont want to waste good LR just because its ugly! and i figured instead of just tossing it my QT wouldnt it be better to have it in the main system just for a little extra bio filter and pod homes? but i really dont want to mess up my remora, so let me know.
thanks

i would just break it up and use it to mount frags in the future. i think you have plenty of rock in your tank

I don't think I would, it would probably

[hr]
up how the water flows through it and it would be a pain to try to get back out. I would just use it for frag mounts like nietzsche said.

yeah, i ended up just fitting the two bigger pieces down behind the rockwork where you can't see them, and im going to break up the smaller piece.
i was just wondering about it because i thought i had read about someone on here doing it, but i couldnt find the thread.
