LR rubble

Ive read that the rubble and crud at the bottom of LR holding tanks is full of tank critters and bacteria. Will it be a good idea to get some and put it in the holes and caves of my HI rocks to help speed up the seeding process?I also wanted to mix it into the sandbed.

It sure would be some good seeding material. If this is from a LFS, take a good look at the fish and such, and make sure everything looks healthy. You don't want to bring home any desease or parisites.
I say this because many LFS has their tanks set up on the same system, and what is in one tank can spread to the entire system.
hope this helps some.

Thanx. I've gotten my live rock and fish from that LFS with no problems. Ill still keep an eye out though. I have 2 almost volleyball sized dead rocks and just want to speed up the process.

Thanks for the clarification. I started my tank in a similar fashion. I have about 15 lbs of rock that I used in a tank about 10 years ago (was once LR). I got it out of storage, cleaned it up (soaked it in pure bleach for 2 days, rinsed it very well, and dried it in the sun for 10 days). I placed it in the tank first, then added 15 lbs of quality LR from my LFS, and everything seems to be flourishing wonderfully now. HTH.
