Is there any benifit to having loest quality live rock in your tank.

I am not sure what you mean by lowest quality, but any LR will provide a biological filter, a place for critters to live and nice decoration. Even base rock will do this, and you can seed it with some higher quality live rock as time and money are available making this 'cheaper' rock much better over time. Eventually you may not be able to tell the difference.
