LT Plate -vs- Finger Leather

My plate has grown very quickly the last few weeks. When its completly expanded it covers more than three times the area of its own skeleton now. Its caught me off gaurd because I wasnt expecting it to get so big.
There is a medium-large finger leather attached very well to a bottom piece of live rock next to it. I'll scoot the plate over a bit but within a few hours hes back in his spot. They are both doing so well I dont want to bother them too often.
Im sure I read somewhere that the plate can sting strongly like an anemone, so will it kill the leather? It seems to be a fragile species. Thanks all.

check out www.***********.com coral section. They have about all the information one needs about the different types of corals.

I have a plate coral that is very close to a cabbage leather...green open brain and a very nice sized alveopora...all seem fine...all healthy...been neighbors for 3-4 months now.The plate can be aggressive so I'd keep an eye on them for potential damage but so far they are good neighbors in my system.
