lta and ph?

In another post I mentioned that my lta completely buries himself in the sand at night and Thomas told me to check my ph and make sure I wasn't having drastic drops in it at night. Is is not normal for an lta to bury itself? Does this mean something is wrong? It seems fine.

It'll bury itself if it senses something wrong or if it gets stressed. A change in pH could very well be the cause, since the pH during the day and night will change.

Run a refugium on a reverse lighting schedual, and or also drip kalkwasser.

I know I've read something somewhere where an LTA did this, but I believe it was a reverse of what is happening to you. burried in the day and came out at night, and I just can't remember that particular answer there, but I suspect pH problems.. I'll look around.
