LTA big at night, Small during day?

Ok so my LTA seems to be nice a puffy during the night with straight tentacles and wide open
During the day hes much smaller and has like a gerry curl tentacles but doesnt look sick.. just much smaller.
Any idea?
My lighting is T5 4x24ho 17" deep 1" deep sandbed

try leaving the lights off for a day or two. and turn them on in the moring
