dogstar Active Member Apr 15, 2007 #4 A gapeing mouth is not good. Normaly stress related from possibly bad water conditions. That is not as bad as some I have seen. Hopefully it will recover if your tank is healthy. Keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, then most likely too late.
