lta in PH-how long should I run carbon?

My lta got sucked into a PH today, I shut the PH off and he pulled himself out fairly quickly and looks okay, except for a few broken tentacles. How long should I run carbon?

3-4 days.

Thank you. Should I change the carbon during that time, and can I use the same piece for 4 days?

You can just leave the same carbon in and take it out after 3-4 days.

Well if he diddnt get demolished then id say maybe only 2 days, or do a water change. Yes I know I havent been here long but I have experience in this, mine got demolished, completely, except for the mouth and a single tentacle. I rean carbon for a week and a half, did a 50% water change aggggggggg!!!!! It sucks when that happens. Cover your intake with filter pad when he is moving.
