LTA question

hey there ya'll
i have two questions
we added a lta to our tank on tuesday afternoon.
ever since that day it seems to stay the same size however its getting shorter. i know it is puting his foot into the sand but how far will it go? i looks like almost the entire foot is under our rockwork and into the sand. the head is fully expanded and looks great. am i correct to assume this is a good thing ?? will it bury untill its head is flush with the sand??
also how long should it be until it eats a silverside??
it will hold one but never seems to eat it?? should i offer somthing else.

Everything sounds fine right now.
IMO its spending energy to plant itself right now, when it gets ready it will spend energy to eat.
Try again every couple of days.

try shrimp as well. Mine loves shrimp and sometimes rejects other foods. But then again its an anemone to anemone thing.
