LTA Question

I was wondering if it is normal for a LTA to have its mouth open for a long time? I have attached a normal pic then one with the open mouth.

I was also wondering if it is a problem if the LTA will not attach its foot. It just sits on the rock, looks healthy, but does not seem to want to attach its foot.

If the mouth is gaping open for long periods, it is not healthy. I can't really tell from that pic. Put it on the sand, they like to bury their foot in the sand, it doesn't like the rocks.

The Lta is in the sand now, but its muth is still open. It seems to look ok besides the fact it will not bury its foot and its mouth is still open. What should I do? I checked my water levels and everything is good. My condi and green star polyps are doing good still.
Any ideas or suggestions?
