lunare wrasse in long tenacle anemone

Came home today and my lunare wrasse was nicely wrapped in my long tenacle anemone. The fish store guy said to remove the fish ASAP, but have you ever tried to catch a wrasse, anyway he's been in the tank a year, and seems happy, my question is why was he in the anemone, and is he reef safe, thanks

my guess was he wasnt in there purposly.. did he swim out or did you have to pull him out ? anemone like fish ! and may have tried to eat my wrasse for ya

That does not sound right- do you see signs of being stung? (White or other discolored patches)
The anemone was probably trying to eat him! Anemones are able to kill and eat smaller fish- So keep an eye out
