Hey MC, I saw that ad. I thought it looked like a great deal, but I never checked it out. Let us know what happens.

I saw the same ad and called for a brosure a few weeks ago and it never came. The prices of the pc light is what caught my eye! Looks like a great deal to me, 220w of pc light for $100. :D Let us know how they are.

I hope you have good luck with it, but it sounds too good to be true. Normally 4 bulbs will cost you more than $100, even buying through the internet suppliers. Did the fixture come with the bulbs for that price?

Fishfreek, I ordered a catalog also. It took forever because the lady said she couldn't hear me. I had to scream practically. That was about 2 weeks ago, so I'm still hoping.

bradburycf,
I found those Helios for $199, but have yet to order. Do you have any comment on them? I have heard the bulbs they come with are not that great, what are your thoughts?

I bought a JBJ lighting 48" 4*65 PC's for $400 over hang with built cooling system. You got a bargain!

I called last night to see what the deal really was on this light set up. She said that the fixture ONLY (without bulbs) is $99. With (4) bulbs=$259. I guess it was too good to be true.

We have two of the Helios lights. Love the low profile and the amount of light they produce. The second one we bought had a bad ballast after two weeks, now only half of the lighting works. We are having a hard time getting a replacement light at the LFS. They work great in a canopy because of the low profile. We have not been able to find them for sale anywhere on the net...have you? Can't find a web site for them either.

Fishfreek, I called to talk to the people about the deal and the catalog, and forgot to ask about the lights, but they did tell me that the catalog was being created, and they weren't finished yet, so that it should be coming soon.
