lymphocystis

I have this 3 spot angel (or flagfin) that I am quarantying 12 days now. He came with a white spot on one of his fins, and while doing a searcg on this forum it looks like a lymphocystis (Beth posted a couple of pictures on a reply post)
Beth said that it is a viral infection that does not go away... The question is do I introduce him to the display tank or will that spread to the other fish?
The spot that you can see in the picture is gone, and another appeared (smaller on his side fin not visible)
It is lymphicystis right?
In addition on his circled fin he has something like a mark-scratch brownish (not there when the picture was taken). Is it possible that it was wounded during transport and now it is infected, or is it something else?

It could be any single parasite or lymphocystis. I would suggest doing hyposalinity on the fish while it is in QT.
What are you feeding him? How is he doing in QT?

I am feeding him pellets and dried plankton. He seems to have settled in the tank. Feeding well, acting relaxed, swiming normally.
