lymphocytus on emperor angel

On my emperor angelfish I noticed he has a piece or two of lymphocytus on him. What is causing this and how do I get rid of it? Please I want to cure it before it gets worse. Thanks!

thanks! The nitrites are just a little itsy bit up, and the ph is 8, otherwise everything else is good. Thanks.

Terry, Beth, Ed, etc, I've read in books that lympho can be cured by cutting off the piece of fin it is on? Sounds crazy to me, putting the fish through more stress. Any truth to this? Thanks, Bo
