29 Gallons is WAY TOO SMALL FOR THE YELLOW TANG!!!! He will become stressed, and you will have an ich outbreak, and he will die.

I am completely aware of the tang's problem. He was the first fish I bought when I started my tank three months ago. I was unaware of the problem then. I am now and am going to trade my LFS for something that is more suited to my smaller tank. I am now careful to research before just taking somebody's word.

yep, perfect. They are firefish. Thats Spike.........here is Alfalfa
They are a little shy/timid at first. They do better in pairs IMO. Once they get used to their surroundings they are fun to watch.

I'm gonna get one,Can't wait to start adding some live stock to my tank
Everyone says you'll need to have a secure lid for them, they tend to jump out of the tank.

they are fun until you come home and find them on the floor from jumping out the tank.

nice tank. im glad that you realized that your tank is to small for a tang before it was to late. many people dont know this and many fish die because of it.

Talk to me. Why do you say my tank is overstocked (with exception that I have a yellow tang that I am getting rid of). I only have three fish. I have a maroon clown, yellow tang (going bye bye) and a blue chromis damsel.

Yeah trade that tang in for some firefish. I have 3 firefish now. Amazing..very very very shy at frist, like first week mine hid inside my rock, but now they are always out. These fish are fast swimmers too, but usually just hang out
